Clear Street initiated coverage of Q32 Bio (NASDAQ: QTTB) with a “buy” rating and price target of $38.00. The stock closed at $8.77 on September 25.
Q32 Bio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing therapies designed to restore immune regulation across autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Its lead program, bempikibart, is a fully human anti-IL-7Rα antibody that blocks both IL-7 and TSLP signaling and is being developed initially for severe and very severe alopecia areata (AA). Positive P2a SIGNAL-AA results support initiation of a registration-directed program in 1H27. The company is also advancing ADX-914-XL, a preclinical half-life-extended IL-7Rα antibody intended to enable less frequent dosing, and retains ADX-096 and other early-stage assets from its tissue-targeted complement platform.
Analyst Kaveri Pohlman, PhD, writes that the $38 price target is “driven by strong conviction in bempikibart’s path to a competitive severe-AA label, with P3 initiation expected in 1H27. Bempikibart has demonstrated JAKi-like efficacy (the only approved class in severe AA) alongside an unparalleled safety profile, without JAKi-class serious safety concerns or regular lab monitoring—supporting potential preferred 1L positioning. Its comprehensive MOA, aimed at restoring immune homeostasis rather than merely suppressing inflammation, may drive a robust remittive effect (with substantiating data expected at EADV 2026) and efficacy in the post-JAKi setting.”
“Taken together, bempikibart’s attributes make it a formidable AA contender and create a highly favorable risk-reward setup, further underpinned by QTTB’s approximately -$20.0M EV vs. a $5.0B+ AA TAM. Despite +375.8% 12-month appreciation (vs +57.6% XBI), we see meaningful upside over the next 12 months,” Dr. Pohlman adds.
