James Antonopoulos has joined Roth Capital Partners as managing director, co-head of healthcare investment banking.
Mr. Antonopoulos previously was a senior investment banker with Canaccord Genuity. He has completed more than 250 equity, debt and M&A transactions, representing over $10-billion in aggregate value, and has advised and raised capital for a wide range of healthcare companies.
In a statement, Byron Roth, CEO, said Eric Cheng, who also is managing director, co-head of healthcare investment banking, and Mr. Antonopoulos have the collective expertise to solidify the firm’s banking platform.
“As we also continue to add resources to our research department, we intend to grow our position as one of the leading investment banks for emerging healthcare companies and their investors,” he added.
Mr. Antonopoulos said he is enthusiastic to join Roth, which has a proven platform and is focused on servicing the financial and strategic demands of emerging growth companies globally.
