Maxim survey finds two-thirds of respondents planning to attend JMP

A survey of 150 people to a recent Maxim Group survey about the upcoming J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference found that 69% of respondents are planning to attend the conference in person, while 52% would choose in person attendance, compared with virtual attendance.

The conference takes place between Jan. 9, 2023 and Jan. 12 in San Francisco. JPM is the largest and most informative health care investment symposium in the industry, connecting global industry leaders, emerging fast-growth companies, innovative technology creators and members of the investment community.

The 40th annual healthcare conference in January 2022 was held virtually because of COVID-19.

The Maxim survey also found that 71% of respondents indicated COVID is not influencing their decision to attend in person. However, 76% have not made hotel or flight reservations yet and 55% would not be disappointed if the conference was canceled.

The survey quoted some notable comments from respondents that included,
“Move the conference out of SF!!!”, “Excited to get back at it!”, “Travel costs too high to justify in person attendance” and “Virtual conferences have proven vastly more time- and cost-efficient…”
