Roth names Margolis to head healthcare investment banking

Roth Capital Partners has appointed Michael Margolis as head of healthcare investment banking. Mr. Margolis has been a managing director at the firm since 2010.

“Michael has been instrumental in building our healthcare franchise, and we are excited to have his leadership as we continue to grow that effort,” Byron Roth, chairman and CEO, said in a statement.

Mr. Margolis said he looks forward to continuing to work with Roth’s healthcare team to provide the investment banking services that are required for the innovative work by many of the domestic and international biotech, medical device, and specialty pharmaceutical companies.

Roth’s healthcare banking team has raised over $12.4-billion in 359 healthcare transactions since 2010.
