Duff & Phelps has added managing director Phil Smith and director Adam Stormoen to its healthcare M&A advisory practice in Minneapolis.
Mr. Smith has more than 25 years of healthcare transaction experience as an M&A advisor and as an executive officer of healthcare operating companies. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, he was a managing director with BMO Capital Markets.
Mr. Smith has expertise advising public and private companies as well as private equity firms, and his transaction experience includes medical devices, medical equipment and healthcare services.
Mr. Stormoen has more than 15 years of experience in both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions and raising public and private capital for medical device, diagnostic, healthcare service and healthcare IT companies. He was previously a director at Roth Capital Partners.
