Revive Therapeutics (OTCQB: RVVTF; CSE: RVV; Frankfurt: 31R) has outlined its strategy to build a focused biodefence and pandemic preparedness medical-countermeasure portfolio led by bucillamine, a thiol-based drug with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and thiol-donating properties that may be relevant where oxidative stress, inflammation, and tissue injury contribute to harm.
The strategy follows Revive’s August 12, 2026 announcement of positive results from a Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) research study evaluating bucillamine in an established animal model of nerve-agent exposure.
In a statement, Michael Frank, CEO of Revive, commented, “The DRDC results give Revive an important starting point.
