Sernova Corp. (TSX:SVA) has announced the appointment of David Patterson, Ph.D., to its board of directors, effective immediately.
“I am pleased to have been able to attract David Paterson’s significant talent to Sernova’s Board of Directors,” said Jonathan Rigby, president and CEO of Sernova. “Mr. Paterson brings more than 30 years of biotech experience, with substantial contributions as both a senior executive board member and founder of numerous companies, with a focus on corporate and business development, intellectual property generation and prosecution, and alliance management.”
Mr. Paterson is currently the assistant vice president for Research Translation and Commercialization at Colorado State University. He brings broad biopharma industry knowledge to the role at Sernova, with prior executive leadership experience at Impax Laboratories, Sepracor, GSK, and Skyepharma. Mr. Paterson is also a co-founder of Neurogastrx.
