Closely held Casp-Aid has appointed Mika (Kimiaka C.) Guerard, PhD, MBA, as VP, Head of Drug Development as it makes final preparations to launch a Phase IIb clinical trial evaluating its lead small molecule, CIM765, in patients with Alzheimer disease across the U.S. and Canada.
Dr. Guerard brings more than 15 years of experience bridging early-stage drug discovery, venture creation, and translational strategy. She is an accomplished chemist with a history of identifying high-potential therapeutic innovations, building scientific and clinical operations around them, and guiding programs from concept through clinical inflection points.
