Ladenburg Thalmann has announced the appointment of Murat Omur as managing director in the healthcare investment banking division.
With 17 years of investment banking experience in healthcare and the M&A sector, Mr. Omur previously served as managing director in healthcare investment banking at Chardan, working on capital markets and M&A transactions in biotech and the CDMO field. Prior to that, he was employed with Nomura Securities, Perella Weinberg Partners, and Merrill Lynch focusing on M&A transactions in the life sciences space.

Mr. Omar holds a BA from Bosphorus University, an MA from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
