Avicanna (TSX:AVCN; OTCQX:AVCNF; FSE:ONN) has announced a scientific and medical affairs collaboration with Vectura Fertin Pharma to establish a joint committee aimed at enhancing the understanding of medical cannabis access and applications in Canada.
According to Avicanna, the joint committee will work closely with Canadian healthcare professionals to conduct research studies and develop evidence-based educational resources.
The collaboration will prioritize engaging with the Canadian medical community, patients, advocacy groups, and insurers to address challenges associated with accessing medical cannabis. Additionally, it will leverage Avicanna’s medical cannabis platform, including Mymedi.ca, to enhance access and provide comprehensive patient support.
