Elite Pharmaceuticals (OTCQB:ELTP) announced it has launched a generic version of Norco tablets, a combination of hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen for pain management.
The generic hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets, USP CII, available in 2.5mg/325mg, 5mg/325mg, 7.5mg/325mg and 10mg/325mg strengths, are indicated for managing pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic, or when alternate treatments are inadequate.
The company noted that IQVIA reported annual sales of approximately $300 million for this product as of September 2024.
