Richard Gormley has joined investment bank, H.C. Wainwright, as vice chairman and president of capital markets.
Mr. Gormley has over 30 years of experience in the investment banking and capital markets business, having completed more than $30-billion of public and private financing and corporate finance transactions. Most recently, he was a senior managing director and head of equity capital markets at Guggenheim Securities.
“Richard joins H.C. Wainwright at a juncture where we have built significant momentum in executing some of the most prominent healthcare financings completed in recent years,” CEO, Mark Viklund, said in a statement. “His breadth of experience and outstanding reputation in the equity and equity-linked capital markets will enable us to enhance our growth trajectory.”
