Ortho Regenerative Technologies will begin trading today on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the stock symbol, ORTH.
Ortho RTi is an emerging orthopedic and sports medicine technology company with a focus on novel therapeutic tissue repair technology to dramatically improve the success rate of sports medicine surgeries for soft tissue injuries.
In a statement, Dr. Brent Norton, said in addition to presenting four key scientific studies earlier this year, the company has grown its total headcount to 19, including 13 scientists under contract and obtained an approximately $1-million non-dilutive Prima Grant. More than $12-million in funding for research and development has been invested in the technology to date.
“I am confident that these recent developments will firmly positon us, as we continue to advance our proprietary biopolymer platform,” he added.
