iBio to present at plant-made pharmaceutical meeting in Brazil

iBio (NYSE AMERICAN:IBIO) is presenting at the Plant-Based Technology Trends Meeting in Meireles, Fortaleza, Brazil between December 2-to-4. The meeting is sponsored by Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz, a unit of the Brazilian Ministry of Health.

Sancha Salgueiro, a well-known business development executive focused on plant-made protein technologies and products, will be presenting, “Transient expression of therapeutic proteins in plants: a flexible platform for fast and affordable biologics manufacturing.”

iBio is a leader in developing plant-based biopharmaceuticals. It also provides a range of product and process development, analytical, and manufacturing services at its development and manufacturing subsidiary, iBio CDMO, in Bryan, Texas.
