D. Medical infusion set listed in ADA consumer guide

D. Medical Industries’ (NASDAQ, TASE:DMED) Spring Universal Infusion Set has been listed in the American Diabetes Association 2012 Consumer Guide, published by the Diabetes Forecast Magazine.

The Spring Universal Infusion Set is compatible with most insulin pumps currently available on the market, offering best-in-class features such as a hidden, auto-retractable needle, 360-degree connector, and smallest one-click, all-in-one inserter.

The device’s core is the proprietary Detach-Detect mechanism. In case the base of the infusion set detaches from the user’s body, a blocking mechanism is triggered which, in turn, creates an occlusion and alarm in an insulin pump.
