DiagnoCure names president for U.S. lab unit

DiagnoCure Inc. (TSX:CUR) has appointed Valerie Palmieri as president of DiagnoCure Oncology Laboratories, its U.S. subsidiary.

Ms. Palmieri brings more than 25 years experience in the laboratory industry to DiagnoCure, including several executive positions at DIANON Systems and Laboratory Corp. of America.  For the past year, Ms. Palmieri was a consultant with Momentum Consulting, which specializes in healthcare solutions.

She will work with John Schafer, who heads the company’s U.S. commercial operations, to grow DiagnoCure Oncology Laboratories into a “self-sustained, profitable laboratory services business,” Dr. Yves Fradet, president and CMO of DiagnoCure, said in a statement.
